ST WDS
Digital PSU Design Software for STM32
ST WDS – Power Supply Design Tool for STM32 from Biricha
Biricha has teamed up with STMicroelectronics to provide a special release of “WDS – Power Supply Design Tool” for use with the STM32 range of MCUs from STMicroelectronics. This ST WDS design tool is free-to-use and allows the user to quickly stabilize their digital power supply controlled using an STM32 MCU.
The user simply selects their topology and types in their input/output specification into ST WDS. The software will then automatically select the compensator poles, zeros and controller coefficients while keeping you in control at every stage of the process.
ST WDS has been designed as the ultimate toolbox for the digital power supply design engineer.
- Designs and stabilises digital PSU control loops in minutes
- Automatically calculates poles and zeros as well as power stage components for the worlds most popular topologies
- Sophisticated control algorithms stabilise digital power supplies with automatic coefficient calculations for STM32 range of MCUs
- Simulations in time domain, frequency domain and ability to superimpose real measurements on simulated data
STM32 Digital Power Discovery Kit
The new STM32 Digital Power Discovery kit is available to order today and is a great way to get started with digital power. ST WDS can be used to generate the controller coefficients required to stabile the Buck and Boost converters onboard the STM32 Discovery Kit. Detailed application notes are available which will walk you through the process of designing the converter, stabilizing the loop and testing the performance. The projects files are available to download also from our dedicated STM32 Discovery Kit page.
Licensing
ST WDS from Biricha is a free tool for all customers using STM32 products from STMicroelectronics. To download ST WDS, click the “Download Now” button below and fill out the simple registration form. You will need to confirm your email address in order to obtain the download link and receive your free activation code. For full terms and conditions, please see our terms page.
ST WDS is a free to use version of our Power Supply Design Tool, WDS. Both tools are similar, however ST WDS caters for the design of digital power supplies using STM32. If you would like to design analog power supplies please visit our WDS page for the full version.
Download Now
ST WDS is free to use, however, you will need to fill out a simple registration form below. Once complete you will receive a link to download ST WDS and also a unique code to activate all of the features. ST WDS can be used in a trial mode without a license code. Obtaining a license code is free of charge.
